Introduction:
Millennium City Estate Development is a new developing residential enclave located off the Kasoa Winneba road, in the Central Region of Ghana. A 0.23 acre plot located at the Millennium City Estates was to be developed into a modern Serviced Apartment that would first serve Kasoa and its catchment areas about 40 minute’s drive from central Accra
Epignotects -AD was consulted to design this commercial block that would serve as a serviced apartment for guest in the city.
Brief Development & Feasibility Studies:
An exclusive serviced Apartment in a plush location as this would have certain specialized needs.
The concept was organized around 3 floors with roof space gym.
Entrance Lounge:
- Double volume lounge space
- Glass allows sufficient daylight,
- Views to garden in front and seating area behind.
Roof Terrace:
• Utilizes roof space
• Additional communal space for guests
• Views to environs
• Roof garden adds to green space improving comfort
in facility
Gym: Glass lit gym
Rooms:
- Sufficient glass allows enough light and views to activities in street and garden with fountain behind
- Terrace in front to shade wide glass widows
- Sufficient breeze from landscaped area in front and behind Meeting rooms
- NR expandable meeting room for multipurpose use

This 3-storey twin serviced apartment is typical of epignotects Architecture & Development, philosophy of simplicity, light and spacial quality.
A contemporary interpretation of the historical courtyard typology, utilising restraint and control to create a highly ordered sequence of spatial experiences.
These two attached blocks exhibit a paired-front aesthetic that creates a restrained and liveable sense of luxury.
